VETTEKKARAN
Vettekkaran Temples are seen only in old Malabar area of Kerala. Lord Vettekkaran is a Rudra moorthy. Anybody who offer prayers and perform poojas with utter devotion will be showered with all blessings immediately. In all other Temples of Vettekkaran, the prathista (idol) is of Vettekkaran alone. Here at Padinjarepattu Mana, The Prathistha of  Lord Vettekkaran is with his beloved spouse Umadevi disguised as kiratha lady. Thousands of devotees from all places visited this temple and fulfilled their wishes offering various poojas.
